This position is a full-time and requires in office attendance in Mt. Clemens, MI.   Position Overview:  The Office Assistant is responsible for the comprehensive administrative support of day-to-day administrative operations. The aid will perform work of moderate difficulty including various data entry demands. Admin Assistant liaises closely with other departments throughout the organization, providing a customer focused and effective support service to achieve delegated goals and objectives.   Specific Responsibilities:  Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner  Direct phone inquiries to the appropriate staff members  Forward voice mail from the general mailbox to the appropriate staff member  Reply to general information requests with the accurate information  Greet consumers/visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner  Sort and distribute incoming mail  Prepare and send outgoing faxes and courier parcels  Assist with bookkeeping/accounting functions as appropriate  Prepare accurate resident fund report  Administer petty cash according to established procedures  Provides information by answering questions and requests.  Additional duties as required.    Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment.
