Aircraft Electronics Technician

Aerotek is seeking qualified Aircraft Electronics Technicians. Pay range $37-42/hour plus sign-on bonus based on experience, direct hire long term role. Hiring ASAP with quick response time. Minimum 4 years of relevant avionics experience required, O-level avionics highly preferred:
Provide engineering technical services to plan, design, modify, install, interface, test, evaluate, repair and document the operation and performance of airborne test instrumentation, data acquisition systems and ground support equipment.
Fabricating cables harnesses, populating electronic assemblies, soldering, crimping, and wire terminations to interface equipment to sensors, data acquisition units and test equipment.
Upload and download instrumentation pods to/from aircraft.
Selection and operation of test equipment such as multi-meter, O-scope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, frequency meter, logic probe to accomplish specific tasks such as checkout, calibration, troubleshooting and repair.
Hands-on electrical, instrumentation, and avionics maintenance on aircraft highly desired.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or technical school, or a military equivalent is required.
Comprehensive knowledge in general electronics and demonstrated expertise in electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems along with test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment is necessary.
Proficient at troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic and integrated circuits to the component level.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience is required. Successful candidates will have expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities.
Must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship is required.
