Responsibilities You will serve as the Above-Ground Launch Test Facility (ALTF) Technical Program Manager. You will prepare budgets, procurement plans, schedules, and reports. You will determine short- and long- range technical and programmatic requirements. You will communicate and collaborate with management to develop and execute plans and strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-04 (GS-11-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Integrates work processes and products, obtains resources, and maintains liaison with the supervisor. 2) Leads the team in identifying, distributing and balancing the workload and tasks among employees to accommodate the work flow and team members skill levels and technical specializations and to ensure that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product. 3) Works projects or assignments are sometimes characterized by such factors as extraordinary urgency, priority, or constraints, which create a need for critical judgment in making major compromises to satisfy the overall technical/management requirements. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
