Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
2 years of experience in full-stack software development.
Experience with front end languages (e.g. JavaScript or TypeScript).
Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C).
Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience designing and optimizing databases.
2 years of experience with cloud, containerized, or microservice architectures.
2 years of experience collaborating with team and business stakeholders on project requirements.
In this role, you will design and develop software-based solutions to solve complex business problems for YouTube. You will collaborate with an experienced product and engineering team, and help build and enhance systems at the core of YouTubes business.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Design systems and applications to meet the needs of YouTubes business at scale.
Develop web applications primarily in Angular, Typescript, Python and Java.
Collaborate with Product Leads and stakeholders to deliver high impact features and solutions.
Work with engineering teams across YouTube to integrate across the ecosystem.
