We are searching for a Parts Warehouse Specialist to join our team!
Job Summary:
Provide maximum customer satisfaction in the stockroom and receiving areas, using established policies and procedures to accurately document receipts and shipments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Accurately complete all shipping and receiving by the end of each day.
Verify and document all shipments and received goods with their appropriate paperwork and labeling.
Inspect incoming goods for damages, overages, and shortages.
Pick and inspect outgoing goods for shortages or damages.
Determine routing and legal load limits according to established schedules and weight limits.
Verify actual cost against billed costs and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
Maintain, clean and organize stockroom and related areas daily.
Ensure all stock is put away, labeled, and in the proper locations.
Correct discrepancies and maintain adequate stock of shipping supplies.
Input all receipts of inventoried items through purchase order receipt process into current business system.
Distribute non-inventoried items to appropriate department.
Organize, label, ship, track and process credits for core items as required by Suppliers
Organize, label, ship, track and process credits for warranty items as required by Suppliers
Run truck back-order replenishment programs.
Responsible for initial contact with customers and vendors at the Parts Counter.
Package outgoing goods to ensure their arrival in undamaged condition.
Cut or assemble chains, hoses, and cables as required.
Press tires as required.
Receive and document all returned goods per established procedures.
Maintain all mailing and shipping related machines and equipment and their supplies.
Deliver parts to technicians in the field.
Additional duties as required or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs
Previous knowledge of hazardous material procedures and guidelines
UPS and FedEx manifest system knowledge is beneficial.
The ability to multitask in stressful environments.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified in the operation of material handling equipment preferred
Industry experience beneficial
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to travel.
Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control.
Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms to lift, file and handle inventory.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under significant stress and meet high performance demands.
Ability to stand and walk for 2 hours.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to lift, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl continuously.
Possess a valid drivers license with the ability to drive 4 hours.
Some overnight travel may be required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Works in a variety of customer environments including manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, and out of doors with exposure to elements. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards and dangerous chemical/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed. This position also entails the necessity to work after normal working hours or on weekends based on customer need. Works under normal office conditions were required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spend significant amounts of time working in front of a computer terminal or in interactions with various people. Some travel may be required. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
