SUMMARY

Responsible for writing content in fulfillment of corporate compliance documentation requirements and assisting with developing other corporate programs, plans, policies, procedures, and presentations as required to support the compliance team. Responsible for document control activities and maintaining web-based library portal publication activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate development, revision, and publication of corporate documentation utilizing web-based portal (Navex PolicyTech).

Maintain accurate tracking and revision history of files/documents per document control program.

Perform as primary point-of-contact for company to coordinate document requests by team and/or other functional divisions.

Produce program/plan/policy/procedures, presentations and other documentation as required.

Assist in conducting interviews with subject matter experts, as needed.

Write portions of management plans, business plans, security plans, operational plans, and related policies, procedures and forms, presentations, and other content as directed.

Create document layout, formatting, assembly, and publication.

Ensure corporate branding guidelines are followed based on document type.

Edit and revise text to ensure content is compliant to applicable regulations, representative of corporate standards, error-free, and uniform in tone and style.

Generate content that is accurate, compelling, and compliant with stated requirements.

Facilitate team reviews of working drafts and making revisions as required.

Adhere strictly to team schedules and deadlines.

Ensure document compliance with requirements related to section outlines, formatting, length, layout, etc.

Work with assigned HR team member to produce and track distribution and acknowledgment statistics for reporting from PolicyTech as required.

Ensure new/revised documents are uploaded and published in PolicyTech by set deadlines to ensure distribution to employees per established schedule.

Promote use of PolicyTech for document management to other operational and functional divisions.

Maintain file directory protocols and ensure document development history retention.

Assist with ad hoc team requests, as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned, including some department-specific clerical duties.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate/Technical degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Graphic Design, or relevant technical field, or commensurate work experience.

Proficient in creating graphic content related to project deliverables.

Minimum of two (2) years of proofreading, restructuring, editing and rewriting text for grammatical correctness, content flow and adherence to the appropriate writing styles.

Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in technical writing. (NOTE: Will substitute education for years of writing experience.)

Strong knowledge and capability in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of utilizing and leveraging AI tools (and their limitations).

Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Ability to analyze technical content and communicate the intent to non-technical audiences.

Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives at one time.

Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Ability to conceptualize and design graphics a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE

Part-time, up to 30 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignments or projects.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 25%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENT

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for short occasional events.  The expected driving time is less than 10%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 10 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

Pay is $26.50 hourly
