Supply Chain Senior Sourcing Analyst – Asst Vice President

As a Supply Chain Senior Sourcing Analyst within Citi’s Procurement and Third Party Risk Management Organization, you will become a member of a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement team that identifies and leads strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives focused on the Software and IT Professional Services expense categories. The successful candidate will have experience leading sourcing initiatives and negotiating contracts across IT products and services, in particular for Software and IT Professional Services in a complex multinational organization. The overall objective of this role is to acquire Technology goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the companys Functions Technology & IT organizations
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish strong relationships with internal business / IT functional stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned projects, suppliers and/or spend categories.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.
Develop and manage RFP processes to support business, category and project strategies
Perform financial analysis including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisons to support supplier selection and negotiation processes
Develop, lead and/or manage a portfolio of initiatives across the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process
Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies for assigned projects
Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and business function, to optimize overall value including financial outcomes, service levels and risk mitigation
Manage supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost.
Qualifications:
5 years of previous Sourcing, Contracting and/or Business-related experience; significant experience required in the sourcing of Technology services.
Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, P2P)
Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization
Financial Services industry experience is a plus
Proven track record of leading sourcing and contracting initiatives
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong financial modeling and deal structuring skills
Takes initiative and has the ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives
Aptitude for innovation
High integrity and ethics
Education:
Bachelors or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University; MA/MBA preferred

$79,120.00 – $118,680.00
