The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department cares for a specific patient population who has neurogenerative and musculoskeletal diseases. This department is committed to helping patients maintain good health and improve their function, learning from each other and partnering in research efforts, teaching rehabilitation principles, recording useful data, gaining knowledge from patient encounters, developing its rehabilitation brand, and using its size and resources to create efficient and effective career paths that will define the future delivery of rehabilitation services.

A caregiver in this position works the day shift from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. After completing the 90-day probationary period, you may work a hybrid schedule.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Support assigned chairpersons, senior directors or medical directors through scheduling, handling phone calls, greeting customers and correspondence.

Manage and prioritize multiple assignments.

Act as a liaison between internal and external customers.

Provide coverage of other areas, such as front end, point of service and registration.

Coordinate management functions.

Assist with special projects.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High school diploma or GED.

Five years of office experience.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Associates degree.

Typing proficiency of 35 WPM with accuracy.

Clerical, Epic and scheduling experience.

Experience interacting with providers and patients.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31
