Packager

1 position available for 2nd shift: $19/hr

1 position available for 1st shift: $18/hr

HOURS:

1st shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

2nd shift: 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday

Typical day includes:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs

• Working in the catching department directly with the operator

• Catching pieces as they come off a line and putting them aside or into boxes

• Cutting wood using a saw – tape measure is a MUST HAVE

• Wrapping drywall studs (sizes: 6 ft, 8 ft, 12 ft)

• Stacking on a pallet, wrapping, and preparing for shipping

• Performing very repetitive work

• Handling material on a roller/conveyor, keeping it on the roller, and putting sheets on saw horses

• Counting pieces per work order to determine the number in each pack

• Receiving saw training to cut wood pieces for drywall protection during shipping

• Reading order sheets and paperwork and sharing information

• Operating a table saw to cut wood parts

• Being on feet the entire shift

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Warren, Ohio or Vienna, Ohio.

Work Environment

Clark the person manufactures interior products for buildings and new construction, including racking systems, drywall framing, corner bead, and a variety of other products. They are currently in their busy summer season. The Vienna location is large, industrial but clean, and well-lit. There are multiple locations in the Warren and Vienna area.
