Position Summary:

Using average to complicated blueprints and operation sheets, fit up, tack weld, and finish weld, any job assigned to consistently produce work of accepted quality.

Essential Functions of the Job:

[Ability to pass entry level weld test, change weld wire settings and perform welds at all positions.]{times=”” new=”” roman””=””}

[Ability to read blueprints at an intermediate level.]{times=”” new=”” roman””=””}

[Ability to set gas and oxygen levels in order to use cutting torches.]{times=”” new=”” roman””=””}

[Ability to cut steel and other metals straight and within acceptable tolerances as designed on prints or verbal instructions. ]{times=”” new=”” roman””=””}

[Perform related tasks including grinding, cutting, and removing scrap from tables, routine machine care and maintenance, material handling, recordkeeping and any other duties as assigned by supervision. ]{times=”” new=”” roman””=””}
