Microbiology Lab Technician

Job Description:

Performs Bioburden testing on Med Device products and supports Micro team

Media preparation and sterilization utilizing aseptic technique during sample preparation.

Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and either notifies management or performs simple repairs.

Perform preventative maintenance and laboratory housekeeping.

Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.

Will train on USP 61 and USP 62

May train on LAL testing and other Micro techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree

Experience with USP

Experience with autoclave

Experience with bioburden testing
