WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Director of Business Development, Field Services, you will drive growth and expansion into a new market segment for CPI’s Service business. This is an opportunity to leverage existing infrastructure that we have and use your skills to capture new business.

The Director of Business Development, Field Services will have a direct impact on our Service group, responsible for:

Develop and execute the Field Services business development strategy in partnership with the global sales team

Manage the sales cycle, from lead generation to prospect identification, qualification, opportunity development, and closing, using SFDC (SalesForce.com)

Identify and pursue new opportunities by identifying customer needs, requirements, and packaging solutions offerings that differentiate CPI from the competition

Prepare all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).

Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, including OEMs and End Customers/Operators in multiple verticals such as Retail, Financial Services and Gaming

Collaborate with the internal service team management to ensure the delivery of high-quality field services to CPIs customers

Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote CPIs field services offerings

Present business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent experience in Sales/Business Development

Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical field sales or business development role, ideally within the payment solutions, kiosk or gaming industry

A strong understanding of technical field services, including service desk, maintenance, repair, and installation services

Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

Strong business acumen.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented and persuasive.

Ability to travel domestically/internationally as required (up to 50%)
