Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to work on Rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and chillers. Install refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems. Provide preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Troubleshoot units that are not working and replace parts that are defective.
Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems. Repair and replace defective parts, components, and maintain and repair HVAC equipment. Service HVAC controls for various equipment brands. Perform system testing to ensure proper functioning. Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance services. Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Keep up-to-date with new technologies and developments in the HVAC industry. Work hand in hand with our construction crews in between service duties, including a proficiency in refrigerant piping installation, brazing, and purging techniques.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems
Possess own basic hand tools
3 years previous commercial HVAC experience preferred
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
EPA Universal Certified
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift and move heavy objects
Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
We are fully fit with 3D CAD capabilities to streamline coordination, prefabrication, and installation with the use of laser layout systems. This streamlines projects, minimizes errors, and facilitates higher quality construction. We are experienced in steel, stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC, and CPVC materials and jointing methods, and use industry-leading methods and equipment for pipe fabrication including threading, welding, brazing, soldering, grooving, ProPress, MegaPress, butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion.
