Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler in a 1st shift assembly role from 6am-2:30pm. Occasionally, you may be required to work an additional hour, extending the end time to 3:30pm. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform repetitive line assembly operations to produce products.
• Assemble products by hand or using hand tools or portable power tools.
• Troubleshoot production line hand tools.
• Perform equipment change-overs.
• Responsible for quality control; make adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications, and reject products outside of specifications.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Complete daily production logs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees when needed.
• Order raw materials and maintain material supply adhering to just-in-time manufacturing principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Facility: Large manufacturing building. The facility stays warm in the winter but can get very hot in the summers.
Team size:
• Punches: 3 on days, 3 on nights
• Brake: 7 on days, 5 on nights
• Polish: 8 on days, 5 on nights
• Assembly: 20 on days
