As a fry cook at Bavarian Inn Restaurant, youll play a vital role in delivering delicious, high-quality fried chicken and menu items to up to 4,000 guests daily. Responsibilities:
– Food Preparation: Master the art of frying chicken and other menu items to perfection, following our recipes and quality standards.
– Quality Control: Ensure every dish is cooked to the right temperature, appearance, and portion size, maintaining our high standards.
– Cleanliness: Keep the grill and fryer areas spotless, including regular cleaning of fryers, grills, and surrounding spaces.
– Inventory Management: Track inventory levels for frying ingredients and supplies, and notify the supervisor when stock is low.
– Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper food storage, handling, and preparation techniques.
– Guest Service: Deliver exceptional service, maintaining a sense of urgency and ensuring orders are served promptly without sacrificing quality.
– Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with kitchen and service staff to coordinate and expedite orders, maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
– Must be able to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 lbs continuously during shifts.
– Ability to stand or walk for the duration of 8 hour shifts.
– Comfortable working in a high-temperature kitchen environment.
– Capable of maintaining focus and performing effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
Days and Shifts Scheduled:
– Required Availability: Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays with flexible scheduling options for other days.
– Shift Examples: A variety of shifts including 9am-4pm; 12pm-9pm; 3pm-Close (closing team usually leaves between 10pm & midnight).
