Modeling Technician Pattern Maker

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a skilled Pattern Maker with 5-10 plus
years experience with wood and plastic patterns and/or three-dimensional
modeling experience. Job Description: Plan, layout, and construct wood
or plastic patterns used in forming sand molds for casting production.
Read and interpret blueprints and written specifications, Program and
operate CNC equipment Understand, diagnose and correct problems with
existing tooling made with manual techniques Qualifications: Solid
understanding of typical foundry processes, needs and tooling
requirements. Able to speak, read and write fluently in English Strong
mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination 5 years CNC
programming and operation 3D modeling ability using Surfcam, Powershape,
Powermill or working knowledge of Pro E and/or AutoCAD Experience in
diagnosing and troubleshooting Physical Requirements: Ability to lift
50lb Obey safety rules and wear personal protective equipment as
