Description The Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients between various sites and care suites for recovery following surgical procedures. This is casual position working around the surgeries that are scheduled during the weekdays (M-F). Hours worked will vary based on the surgical volume for the day and the start and end times of surgery. This role will support our Excel Care Suites in Edina, Eagan, and Plymouth. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Assist patients entering and leaving the vehicle, including assisting patients with wheelchair transport to and from vehicle Provide a high level of customer service during interactions with patients and individuals at each site to represent organization in a professional manner Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines to ensure safe transport Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and exert at least 25 pounds of force required to assist with patient transport Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma/GED or equivalent Customer service experience Valid drivers license Acceptable driving record Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
