Description POSITION SUMMARY Our Safco Sales Operations Manager is accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of sales operations functions, leading critical Market to Cash activities, and managing sales operations team members. This role is accountable for operational processes like pricing execution, reporting and analytics, sales incentive planning process, quoting and special discount processes, customer and sales event planning and coordination, and market to order and order to cash processes. This hybrid position reports to the Director of Sales and Customer Care at Safcos headquarters in New Hope, MN. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting and Analytics: In partnership with the Sales leadership team, delivers needed data and analysis to support efficient and effective sales management and demand generation. Will include active participation in our CRM. Pricing Process: Owns and executes the pricing execution process throughout the year for both Dealer and National Accounts channel teams. Customer and Sales Events: Leads coordination of events including sales meetings, customer showroom experiences, and trade shows. Sales Incentive Plans: Leads the process to create, monitor and report, and execute the sales incentive plans in coordination with the sales leaders, finance and HR. Team leader for roles that own and support the operational effectiveness and efficiency of processes in the MTO and OTC spaces, including internal communications to sales teams. Leads projects to improve aspects of how we drive more demand and improve our customer experience for both internal and external customers. Other duties, as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelors degree in Sales, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of experience in sales 2 years of experience driving process improvements, particularly in sales or customer-facing environments 2 years of pricing or reporting and analytics experience Results oriented, process driven and analytical thinker Previous change management experience Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to travel up to 10% of the time PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and/or Operational Excellence training, certification, and/or practical application experience Previous experience with advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
