JOB OPENING:
EXTRABOARD
Starting Wage: $21.00 plus $1.00 night shift differential
JOB DESCRIPTION:
? Responsible for keeping areas of the mill clean and up to company
standards
? Learn to operate machinery for both relief purposes and for
advancement in the company
? Clean designated areas of sawdust, slabs, and sticks using hand tools
and monitor waste conveyor to ensure
material is transferred to designated area
? Safe and proper use of the lift truck/motorized equipment to transfer
waste to designated area
? Clean bathrooms and lunchrooms daily
? Consistently keep a production level work pace
? Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and
regulations
? Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
C Must be at least 18 years old
C Valid Drivers License required
C Good work and/or school history
C Must be safety conscious, self-directed, and team oriented
C Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol
test as well as random drug and
alcohol tests administered during the course of employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING (Indoors/Outdoors):
Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement.
Standing/walking, crouching,
kneeling/crawling, stooping/twisting, bending at the waist, climbing,
balancing, leg/foot use,
reaching/handling, grasping, and sitting. Employee must be able to push,
pull, lift, or carry up to 70 lbs.
This job requires interaction with others, deadlines, shift work, and
highly repetitive work. Employee will
be exposed to elements and must follow certain safety requirements. Must
be able to tolerate all weather
elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles (sawdust).
Hard hats must be worn.
Applicants must be able to work flexible hours and shifts.
