Job Description: Legacy Beef is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager and Cleaner to join our team. Prior experience is not required but rewarded. Looking for an individual who is seeking an opportunity to begin a career in the meat processing industry.

This role involves 40% meat processing and 60% facilities and equipment cleaning and sanitation. In this position the individual will work Monday — Friday from approximately 12:00 noon — 8:00 pm, with seasonal schedule adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

Meat Processing (40%):

– Operate meat processing equipment to cut, trim, and prepare meat products.
– Ensure all meat products meet quality and safety standards.
– Package and label meat products accurately.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area.
– Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Facilities and Equipment Cleaning and Sanitation (60%):

– Clean and sanitize processing equipment and work areas.
– Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
– Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
– Assist with general facility cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Benefits:

– Wage will range between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour
