As a Cosmetic Chemist, you will play a crucial role in the formulation and development of our cosmetic products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve product lines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your passion for chemistry and creativity will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, formulate, and test new cosmetic products, including skincare, haircare, and makeup.

Conduct stability studies and compatibility testing to ensure product quality and shelf life.

Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align formulations with market trends and customer preferences.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ingredient innovations, and regulatory changes.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of formulations and results in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Perform quality control tests to assess product efficacy and safety.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.

Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and industry regulations.

Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with sustainability practices in cosmetic formulation.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the cosmetics industry (e.g., FDA, EU regulations).

Knowledge of consumer safety and clinical testing protocols.
