Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Architecture and Strategy Manager to join our Digital Platforms, Content platform team! This role is responsible for defining and executing content strategy and content design across multiple digital platforms. Collaboration with various teams, including user experience, search, product management/marketing, development, and solutions teams, will be essential in providing strategic mentorship and operational support.

As part of a content-centric organization, you will be accountable for user-friendly site maps, navigation, content taxonomy, and ontology through information models and an enterprise knowledge graph. Additionally, you will lead the development of frameworks and conventions to ensure data/information quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead a team of data analysts, information architects, taxonomists, and search operations analysts.

Conduct A/B and user tests to optimize website and product navigation.

Translating information demand into effective processes aligned with domain-specific terminology.

Lead taxonomies to optimally organize and categorize content.

Develop and maintain standards for information models, taxonomies, and graph structures, ensuring alignment to standard processes in information architecture.

Guide the content data team to systematically label, tag, and classify data for efficient retrieval and insight generation.

Educate both technical and non-technical audiences on information architecture concepts.

Facilitate collaboration with partners to develop enterprise business terms, vocabularies, technology capabilities, information patterns, dependencies, and relationships.

Guide the design and build of a connected and context-aware data representation.

Establish governance processes for taxonomy and knowledge graph management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Sciences, or a related field required

7 years experience with search engine platforms, data modeling, information architecture, semantic web technologies, and/or knowledge graphs preferred.

2 years supervisory experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Demonstrable ability to devise, communicate, and implement an information architecture strategy. Deep familiarity with taxonomies, ontologies, and classification systems and their management. Good communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills. Robust understanding of data modeling philosophies and methodologies. Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with machine learning and natural language concepts and applications. Experience in implementing knowledge graphs in enterprise environments. Healthy understanding of information modeling using common semantic modeling tools. Ability to operate across strategic and tactical frames to tackle problems, deliver innovation, and build scalable solutions. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $107,000.00–$150,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
