Development Manageryou will beworking in Pediatrics (Shared MCW CSG
Administrative Services). All remote work must be performed within one
of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ,
FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN,TX, and UT. Purpose Oversee grants
management tasks for all pediatric divisions. Provides guidance and
oversight on issues related to the fiscal, administrative and regulatory
management of grants, contracts and sponsored programs from award
receipt through closeout. This position works closely with the principal
investigator, support staff, and MCW Central Administration to provide
post-award services in managing grants and contracts. Manages team of
staff responsible for working closely with Principal Investigators and
support staff to prepare budgets, submit proposals, and advise Principal
Investigators on contract, grant, co-operative agreement, foundation and
gift terms and conditions throughout the period of the award.
Responsible for coordinating staff workflow to ensure policy and to meet
deadlines. Primary Functions Supervise post-award administration of over
700 grants and contracts for approximately 36 different pediatric
division.. Work with Principal Investigators (PIs), Grants/Contracts &
Sponsored Programs, and external agencies to ensure timliness, accuracy,
and compliance of all grant accounting and administrative functions.
Make recommendations to PIs regarding financial strategies that best
meet their objectives. Work with PIs to develop budgets for
applications. Manage grants, contracts, and other summary projects to
ensure proper expenditures. Create process for projecting balances for
grants/projects ending and make recommendations to principle
investigators regarding strategies that best meet their objectives.
Supervise grants management team members and coordinate their effort to
support PIs and manage staff workflow to ensure policy and to meet
deadlines. Perform complex analysis, data manipulation, and report
generation. Develop, generate and maintain monthly financial and
statistical reports for internal and external distribution. Create
