Job Description

Hourly rate: $19 – $23 depending on experience.We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings.
  • Packagingfinished product in various containers and apply labels
  • Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
  • Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
  • Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition.Shift auto and manual steps
  • Mix Batch: Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOPs
  • Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
  • Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
  • Canning
  • Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
  • Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
  • Completingscheduled maintenance,and troubleshooting procedures
  • Helping with repacks

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
  • Have 3 months of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
  • Have attention to detail
  • Be reliableto work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required
  • Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
  • Have good attendanceand punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
