Interact with members and staff by providing information and resolving problems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Answer member (or staff) questions and inquiries (balances, purchases, high balance) in a courteous and efficient manner. Investigate and resolve problems / handle disputes, make adjustments as necessary. Maintain file maintenance (name/address changes, order new or replacement cards, close accounts).•Process approved credit card applications•Block accounts as necessary, help in the investigation of fraud.•Handle Lost/Stolen Card accounts or compromised accounts.•Close and/or transfer balances to new account.•Maintain and apply knowledge of all Visa/ATM/Debit Card/Gift Card procedures and policies. •Maintain records, prepare forms and verify information as requested. •Assist with cleanliness of work and office areas and maintenance of machinery. •Become proficient in all credit union services and products. Explain, promote and cross sell them to members as appropriate. •Comply with all safety and security policies, practices and procedures. Report any unsafe or suspicious activities to your supervisor. •Community involvement is a requirement of this position as outlined in the ServU Employee Handbook.•Develop a working knowledge of ServU data processing system as it pertains to your job.•Assist in other job duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS •High School Graduate•Strong computer skills•High level of confidentiality •Extensive computer use and sitting for long periods of time•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously•Proficiency in data entry accuracy and proof reading•Friendly social skills and professional appearanceServU FCU is an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer.
