Our Warehouse Supervisors are directly involved hands-on in the day-to-day warehouse activities, as well as overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse activities across multiple branch locations (traveling approximately 20% of the time). This unique role involves the responsibilities of a Warehouse Coordinator as well as managing the team of Coordinators responsible for handling shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position is critical in ensuring seamless coordination with branch staff and supporting local operations. Reporting to the Zone Logistics Manager, you will be integral in maintaining high service standards, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

Lead and manage a team of warehouse coordinators and delivery drivers, including planning resources, training staff, and ensuring consistent service across locations

Oversee and receive inbound and outbound processes including receiving deliveries, moving parts and materials into inventory, and picking items for delivery

Process transactions and maintain inventory accuracy using SAP and other preferred business enterprise software

Create shipping documents and manage goods returns using relevant carrier applications and adhere to standard procedures

Support the service van parts replenishment process and facilitate inventory counts as per company policy

Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules and meet project/service demands

Ensure general warehouse cleanliness, enforce safety standards, and adhere to Siemens’ guidelines and policies

You will make an impact with these qualifications:  

Basic Qualifications:    

High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

Experience in warehouse material handling – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment

Experience with either managing, supervising, team leadership, or training courses in leadership

Computer skills: Microsoft office and SAP (or other business enterprise software)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Experience using a forklift

Safety-first and customer-service attitude

Ability to travel 20%

Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license with limited violations 

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:    

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Certification in Supply Chain Management (Warehouse, Logistics, etc.)

5 years experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function

Variety of supply chain management experience

Experience working with cross-functioning (e.g. project managers, service technicians)

SAP experience – other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.)

Experience training employees

The pay range for this position is $53,400 – $91,500 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
