Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT, JOINT RESERVE INTELLIGENCE CENTER of NAVINFOWARDEVCEN NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will review, analyze, and edit budget estimates, as submitted by managers of assigned programs. You will monitor the status of two separate appropriations, including reimbursables, to ensure funds are expended for proper purpose and take prompt corrective action. You will analyze various monthly financial reports and provides the Commander/department with a oral or written brief. You will prepare all outgoing funding documents for signature in the Command Financial Management System (CFMS). You will perform duties of alternate Travel Administrator in all aspects of the travel program. You will be responsible for all contractual arrangements for products and services. You will maintain appropriate documentation for audit purposes and promptly certify monthly billing statements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience establishing and maintaining account reference data in financial management systems; Experience using various financial systems to include Command Financial Management System (CFMS) modules, Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS), and Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS); Experience certifying invoices for payment in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF); Experience researching policies to formulate solutions and take corrective action; and Experience extracting and preparing a variety of reports and forms for data calls and reports.
