Position Overview: PlanITROI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Custodian to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that the building and its services meet the needs of the organization, manage maintenance staff, coordinate with service providers, and implement best practices in facility management. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning work environment. This is an onsite position based in Youngsville, North Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities for the organization’s facility.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility longevity and operational efficiency.

Ensure the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Encourage teamwork and collaboration among maintenance and cleaning staff.

Monitor expenditures related to facility maintenance and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Ensure that all equipment and systems function efficiently and effectively, addressing any issues promptly.

Coordinate with other departments to support their operational needs and address facility-related concerns.

Oversee facility improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Manage external contractors, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards and policies.

Build Racks, benches, conveyors and install new equipment enhancing PlanITROI’s technology

Maintain 5S in operations including taping of floors and proper location signs

Requirements & Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years in facilities maintenance

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a positive work environment.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

This position requires daily on-site presence.

May involve occasional evening or weekend work to address emergencies or complete projects.
