Barnes Force and Motion Control has an exciting and rewarding career opportunity for a Sales Manager. This individual must be a self-starter with an excellent attention to detail and ability to develop and educate their team to identify opportunites, selecting the right product and promoting Barnes products to their customers. The Sales Manager is responsible for profitable sales revenue and growth of aligned Regional Sales Managers. This role will facilitate quotes, strategize, prospect, and develop relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share, and maintain customer loyalty while achieving organizational goals.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers responsible for generating sales of Barnes products to meet monthly revenue and profit targets.
Manage daily operation of the sales team responsible for inquiries to shipment of customer orders, technical customer support, and product sales.
Develop relationships with customers and distributors to drive awareness, education, and intent of our product portfolio through virtual and traditional site visits including developing and leading product and application training.
Track and hold the team accountable for revenue-generating activities and benchmarks.
Hold the team accountable for meeting established KPI target goals.
Assist manager and support team by providing training, serving as a resource for guidance on complex issues and shares best practices across the team.
Acts as a resource in vetting new opportunities and partners, recommending product solutions, and developing proposals. Assists with contract negotiations and closing the sale.
Remain informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers. Design and implement unique programs to drive growth.
Develop key account plans to ensure sales strategies, margin and revenue targets, and customer satisfaction metrics are identified and actions set to meet the goals of both Hyson/Kaller and the distribution partner or end-user.
Collaborate with broader sales and marketing team to identify gaps in sales coverage for target markets and identify and onboard new channel partners.

Performs duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in business-to-business sales, technical sales or a related support role in the industrial market.
Minimum of 2 years of experience educating others on product specifications and applications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in utilizing a CRM to manage sales related activities
Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing formal presentations or communications
Prior experience conducting or managing territory reviews, required.
Experience with selling through distributors preferred.
Experience in technical sales required.
Education Requirements:
BS. Degree in Engineering, Business, or related function is preferred
Combination of education and years of experience acceptable
