Material Handlers/Packaging Technicians will operate and monitor packaging equipment in a production environment. The job requires use of a powered industrial truck, handling/lifting of materials up to 50lbs multiple times per shift, bending down, reaching for and placing of components. Additionally, employees are required to follow all safety rules, quality procedures and meet production numbers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Operating and monitoring packaging equipment at established production rates by loading components and performing required inspections

Conducting and documenting required quality checks at defined intervals

Following safety requirements including LOTO when necessary, PPE, submitting safety cards, supporting safety culture, etc.

Conducting PM tasks on packaging equipment that includes but not limited to greasing, changing wearable parts, and setting tolerances

Perform 5S, cleaning and Lean tasks as assigned by role/function

Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You’ll Need

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work Monday through Friday 3pm – 11pm

2-3 years in manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing setting

Experience working on a team to complete a common goal

RF Scanner experience is preferred

SAP knowledge is preferred

Forklift experience

Handling/lifting of materials up to 50lbs multiple times per shift, bending down, the use of stairs, elevated platforms, ability to get on and off a powered industrial truck, and reaching for & placing of packaging components.
