CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist in Grand Rapids, MI.

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This is a fully on-site 1st shift position, 5AM-1PM, Monday through Friday. The pay range is $23-26/hour, based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform machine setups for CNCs in the facility.

Use a combination of Mazatrol and Fanuc controllers to operate the runs.

There will be an expectation of 4-5 different setups a day, primarily to produce different sized propellers.

Operate 1-2 machines at a time, including setups, changeovers, zeroing out axes, and selecting the correct program for the job order.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a very fast paced and dirty facility. They will be working around plenty of other CNC machines and will be expected to help out in other areas as well. They will be working closely with the entire staff so they will need to be comfortable working in a team setting. When not running CNC programs, use time to clean area and/or facility.
