Overview

We are looking for a Director of Advanced Illness Management (AIM) to join our team. This position will directly report to the VP of Palliative Care and is responsible for the overall clinical and financial operations of the Advanced Illness Management Program.

Establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for advanced illness management that meet and promote high standards of quality clinical care and sound financial success

Meet growth and development targets, both clinically and financially, at the branch level

Manage all expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company’s budget

Responsible for the employment of qualified palliative care personnel and the provision of palliative care services and the delegation and coordination of branch personnel evaluations

Establish and maintain standards of high-quality care and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines

Assesses callers’ symptoms and needs and advises in basic treatment. Provides education or support to patient’s/families/caregivers

Collaborates with Nurse Practitioner, PCP, and/ or Medical Director to address patient needs

About You

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience and knowledge in Health Care Operations required.

Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years health care administration/operations management required.

Two or more years’ experience in home care or hospice required (if also functioning as the Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the office location). Experience could also be asClinical Director, Hospice Director, Director of Nursing (DON), RN Administrator, Executive Director.

Prior experience with budgetary responsibilities including budget development and monitoring required.

Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, Commercial insurance billing and reimbursement, and value-based care.

Must have and maintain reliable transportation to be used for work. Must have and maintain current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license
