Job Description
Candidates will be MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding will also be part of their duties along with assembling the exhausts. This will be rare as the majority of the work will be a mix of custom and production style MIG welding. Candidates need to know how to read blueprints and weld symbols. Being able to do a variety of tasks throughout the shop is key to learning and growing within the company. Candidates may also be asked to assist with fabrication work such as running a brake press, shear, roller, etc., which they need to be okay with here and there.
