Product Security Threat Modeling Specialist

Position Overview:

Our client is looking to hire a Product Security engineer specifically with experience securing medical devices. The position is 100% remote and starting out as a contract. In 2025 the hiring manager would like to convert this individual to a full-time employee on the team.

Top Skills Details:

1. Product security threat modeling. Very high preference on having experience with STRIDE medical device threat modeling, solid understanding of the FDA and be able to manage risk through threat modeling.

2. Ability to manage cyber security risk through medical device risk assessments.

3. Strong understand of medical device security requirements.

Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldn

• 5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related fieldn

• Strong understanding of security concepts and best practicesn

• Experience with Threat Modeling, Security Risk Assessments, Penetration Testing, MDS2, and SBOM Publishingn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsn

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
