Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic equipment; developing prototypes and breadboard circuits; designing and retrofitting existing equipment; researching and performing routine maintenance on electronic equipment utilizing test sets.

Hard Skills

Troubleshoot and run general diagnostics on electronic equipment

Design and build control systems for production and facility equipment

Perform routine maintenance using test sets such as ultrasound, infrared, megger, oscilloscopes, VDM, and ammeter

Adjust and calibrate pressure transducers, probes, and sensors

Use basic power tools for equipment fabrication

Perform electrical, mechanical, and optical assembly and repair operations

Install and evaluate new equipment and applications

Design and upgrade outdated equipment

Develop prototypes and breadboard circuits

Research products and parts for repair or functionality

Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Ability to perform with superior service and maintain a positive attitude

Adherence to high standards of quality
