Shift:

Monday through Thursday OR

Tuesday through Friday

7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Position Summary:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within our corn manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, enhance production efficiency, and maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions.

Repairs and Upgrades: Perform repairs and upgrades on various types of machinery, including conveyors, mixers, dryers, and packing equipment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and equipment status.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities and address any equipment-related concerns.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices, contributing to overall production efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
