Dental Lab Technician (Denture Finish)

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill an opportunity at NDX Green Lab in Heber Springs, AR for a Full-Time Dental Lab Technician (Denture Finish).

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.

Break processed removable restorations out of flasks and match back to the correct case pan.

Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and or cutting wheels

Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth

Add final anatomy to present an aesthetic appearance and good function

Seat back to models to check for correct fit, adjust if necessary. If need to have partial clasps adjusted for correct fit, take to the appropriate person

Repair any areas of the acrylic that have holes, porosity, or scarring using cold cure acrylic technique

Final polish using pumice and high shine materials

Bag dentures and put number of case on the bag before replacing in the correct pan

Maintain a clean work area

All other duties as assigned.

Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
