Mechanical Drafter

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Design Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and other design software to create technical drawings for various projects. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

Collaborate with the assigned Project Manager to prepare submittal and fabrication drawings in line with company standards and customer specifications.

Manage time effectively to ensure drawings are completed according to project schedules.

Review and verify all drawings for accuracy and compliance with sales orders and job specifications before submittal or release to manufacturing.

Prepare necessary engineering documents for the orderly processing of all engineered orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in computer-aided drafting and design technology or two years of drafting experience using current Autodesk Inventor software.

Ability to draft accurately and efficiently.

Knowledge of mechanical design principles.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to organize a demanding workload to ensure timely completion of orders.

Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet schedules.

Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor preferred.

Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software required.
