We are currently seeking an I&C Drafter with 3-5 years of experience

Water and wastewater industry experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Utilize current drafting practices and tools for completion of assigned drafting tasks

Assist in the development of instrumentation drawings, data sheets, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, PDFs, and loop diagrams

Assemble typical details as required to support Instrumentation and Control drawings

Assist in the preparation of estimates and material lists with project engineer’s or project manager’s guidance

Develop control panel elevation drawings

Assist in quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawing production standards and project specific CAD/BIM requirements

Provide basic technical support for 2D schematic CAD applications

Develop basic SCADA block diagrams

Size flow meters and meter selection

Qualifications:

2 years of experience as a Drafter or Designer

Proficient with MicroStation and AutoCAD

Understanding of the application of instrumentation controls

Familiar with International Society of Automation (ISA) standards

Working knowledge of water, wastewater, and infrastructure design

Fundamental understanding of converting data between MicroStation and AutoCAD

Basic understanding of fiber optic cable routing

Understanding of basic network cabinets

Experience in working with multiple discipline projects

Demonstrated proficiency in the development of 2D Electrical and Instrumentation schematic drawings

Working knowledge of P&ID CAD applications

Working knowledge of database software
