Job Title: Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer – Contractor
How You Will Make an Impact -
As the Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer – Contractor , you will collaborate with the Director of Infrastructure and Networking to support, maintain, update, and expand infrastructure resources across the organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our data center operations and ensuring seamless IT infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve and optimize data center operations across the organization.
Assist with general server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Provide expertise in Windows on-prem and cloud services including Active Directory domains , Azure , Office 365 , and Exchange .
Install, support, and troubleshoot WiFi access points , ensuring proper connectivity and authentication.
Manage and maintain LAN and WAN networks , including routing protocols like OSPF , subnetting , and VPN technologies.
Program and manage Cisco Meraki , Dell , and Brocade switches , including switchports, access control lists, VLANs , routing, and security.
Work extensively with VMware vSphere 7 , managing virtual machines, networking, fault tolerance, and storage.
Install, configure, and maintain SAN storage arrays and associated connectivity.
Provide hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls , including Prisma Access and Global Protect VPN .
Lead cloud migration efforts and ensure secure cloud access across the organization.
Requirements for Success:
Education : Minimum of an AD degree with at least 6 years of experience supporting data center operations.
Certifications : CCNA , MCSE , or VCP certification required.
Technical Expertise :
Hands-on experience with Microsoft AD , vSphere , VMware ESX Server .
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP , DNS , DHCP , routing, and network infrastructures.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and offer practical solutions.
