OVERVIEW:
The role of the Social Services Coordinator is to supervise social service volunteers and maintain a proficient level of social services provided by the Clovis Corps. They are responsible for the overall condition and operation of our Social Services, inside and out.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and direct clients and visitors
Oversee volunteers
Develop and maintain a volunteer database
Provide social services to clients
Oversee Food pantry
Prepare and distribute food boxes and bags
Assist with loading and unloading of food donations
Break down and stack all cardboard
Coordinate holiday projects
Maintain client files
Report stats to appropriate programs and agencies
Perform general clerical duties
Attend Community Agency Meetings
Attend staff and Advisory Council meetings, training, and conferences
Conduct assessments
Assist with budget process for the social services department
Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
CA driver’s license (required)
Experience with data entry
Experience in social services
Experience with Microsoft programs
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to lead
Team player
Detail oriented
Great communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)

Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
