We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and processing shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing products, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $19.25 – $20.75 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Receiving Duties:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quantity.

Unload deliveries and verify that all incoming items match the purchase orders or invoices.

Document and record all received shipments in the inventory management system.

Communicate with suppliers or vendors to address any discrepancies or damaged goods.

Shipping Duties:

Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and organizing shipments for delivery or pickup.

Create shipping documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels.

Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate with shipping companies to ensure timely deliveries.

Verify outgoing shipments against customer orders to ensure accuracy and proper packaging.

Inventory Management:

Track and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.

Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Report any inventory shortages, overages, or damaged items to the warehouse manager.

Ensure proper storage and organization of products in the warehouse.

Recordkeeping and Documentation:

Maintain and update shipping and receiving logs, including tracking shipment details and updating order statuses.

Use inventory management systems and shipping software to input data and generate reports.

Keep accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory adjustments.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
