Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Identity Governance to sit in London. This person will be in a specialized role focusing on the governance aspects of IAM within the organization. Responsible for overseeing visibility, segregation of duties, role management, attestation, analytics, and reporting, this role is essential in ensuring that IAM policies are not just enforced but are also transparent and auditable. The Director will be instrumental in driving strategic governance projects that enhance accountability and compliance across all identity-related functions.
Key responsibilities
· Develop and implement a comprehensive Identity Governance framework aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, focusing on visibility, segregation of duties, and role management.
· Ensure that all identity governance activities are compliant with internal policies and external regulations, such as SOX, GDPR or HIPAA. Oversee periodic audits and produce detailed reports for stakeholders.
· Lead the periodic attestation and certification processes to validate that users have the appropriate access levels and to revoke unnecessary privileges.
· Utilize analytics tools to monitor and report on identity governance metrics, such as access violations, role changes, or policy exceptions. Use this data to make informed decisions and improve governance mechanisms.
· Act as the IAM liaison with key business stakeholders, including executive leadership, IT, HR, legal, and operations departments.
· Ensure that IAM initiatives are communicated effectively and that they support both the strategic and operational needs of the enterprise.
