Description
MAIN FUNCTION: Maintains the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the boiler plant. Performs repair of boiler related equipment. Operates and makes corrective adjustments as necessary for the proper operation of all boiler room equipment. Performs limited mechanical repairs, general painting and preventative maintenance work as directed.
EDUCATION: High school/vocational school education with a State of Connecticut Operating Stationary Engineer OE-2 License.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum four years high pressure boiler experience, including some steam fitting experience and/or high pressure boiler controls.
SCHEDULE: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
