Strategic Development Specialist

Job Summary:

The Strategic Development Specialist collaborates with Nursing leadership, management teams, the direct Nursing workforce, and numerous multidisciplinary departments to both design and implement strategic initiatives that promote the growth and development of the Nursing department overall. This role is pivotal to ensure that the Nursing departments strategic goals are aligned with the broader objectives of the healthcare organization and proactively adapts to and prepares for future challenges and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required. Minimum of five years of experience conducting employee and executive level coaching, mentoring, strategic planning and succession and mentorship program planning required. Strong understanding of current healthcare workforce and organizational trends, nursing best practices for optimum performance and organizational development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large academic medical settings preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday days. Evenings and weekends on rare occasion.
