Delaware North is hiring a full-time Payroll Technical Training Specialist to join our team in Buffalo, New York. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $57900 – $78100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate payroll system training programs, including course materials and onboarding sessions for new hires
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance training content
Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess training needs and ensure accurate, relevant training delivery
Prepare and maintain documentation, SOPs, job aids, and assist with reporting and unit testing for payroll systems
Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute for degree
Certification in facilitation, training, or related areas preferred
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in learning and development with proven experience as a training facilitator or similar role, with a strong background in delivering engaging and effective training programs
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Experience with Workday or UKG a plus
Experience in program or project management preferred
