We are looking for an enthusiastic fulltime Assistant Teachers at The Goddard School located on Farm Lane to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children. You will  help teach children with patience and creativity. An assistant teacher duties include using the teachers daily plan and guiding activities and instructional methods to motivate children.  Benefits: Paid Holidays Paid Sick/Vacation time (PTO) Closed major holidays/ closed between Christmas & New Years  Medical/Dental/Vision insurance 401k plan options  Supportive workplace environment  Sign on Bonus Positive work environment Daily Responsibilities As a Goddard Assistant Teacher, arriving at Goddard each day fully prepared and excited to teach is important.  Supporting Goddard’s program and policies as well as state licensing policies is required.  Assistant Teacher tasks include, but are not limited to: Implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans that are individualized to meet the needs of the children in your classroom Creating a classroom that is fun and supports play, exploration and learning Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level. Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
