Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob Description
In this role, the embedded software engineer will design, develop, and test software for embedded systems. This will include enhancing existing products and also working on new products. The engineer will work directly with hardware development teams to bring up new processor boards and collaborate with both hardware and software technical staff to resolve software and/or hardware problems. Additionally, the engineer will address customer complaints and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.
Hard Skills
BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Software Engineering
Domain knowledge of software data structures and programming methodology, computer architecture, and operating systems / systems programming.
Fluency in programming C Language development experience.
5-7 Years of experience in a similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with MS office.
Familiarity with industry guidelines and standards for engineering processes, efficient algorithms and intractable problems.
Work Environment
Monday/Friday are remote; Tues/Wed/Thurs are onsite. Work site in Newtown, PA.
