Overview
As a Reporting Analyst, your role will be to gather, analyze, and present data in a clear and concise manner to support decision-making and drive business growth. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and develop solutions to meet those requirements.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements. Proactively seek feedback to continuously improve reporting processes and deliverables.
Report Development: Design and develop reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key metrics and findings. Ensure reports are visually appealing, easy to understand, and meet stakeholder requirements.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Use data analysis tools and techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate insights.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Validate data integrity and accuracy through data validation techniques. Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues that may arise.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.
Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures. Maintain data documentation and adhere to data privacy and security protocols.
Report Automation: Automate reporting processes to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation solutions.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by stakeholders to support decision-making and address specific business questions or challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or similar platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of data validation and quality assurance processes.
Experience in report development and data visualization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
