Your Key Responsibilities

Oversee, the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and materials for Cheraw, SC facilities.

Develop instruction for basic electrical maintenance processes (blueprint / schematic reading, PLC operation/programming, pneumatics, hydraulics, wiring-control/relay, components, and applied math).

Maintain a knowledge of related tools, equipment, and processes to be used throughout the facility.

Conduct training for employees, in topics related to field or other specified topics.

Support the organization in the planning of training, providing content and schedules.

Provide individual coaching to trainees, in functional or personnel matters.

Perform all administrative duties in the course of the vocational program, and/or liaise in this aspect with Administrators.

Drive marketing and promotion of training activities within the facilities.

Enhance Schaefflers presence in workforce development, serving as a company liaison for education and fostering partnerships with local education providers.

Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, while developing an understanding of Schaeffler Guidelines, processes, and systems

Your Qualifications

Required

Technical Electrical Degree (or related degree) or Journeyman Maintenance License with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate to key stakeholders.

Highly organized and attention to detail.

Experience with Microsoft Suite and computers.

Preferred

Strong background in PLC programming (Siemens preferred).
